Doctors Feldman, Siegel, Punim and Gollinger are all therapeutically trained Optometrists with extensive experience in the care, treatment and management of Glaucoma, Cataracts, Dry Eyes and Laser Refracive Surgery.
Dr. Harvey Feldman is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College and graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1970. He resides in Highland Mills since 1974 which is the same year he opened his office. He is the proud father of four and has been married for 34 years to Arlene. Dr. Feldman has always had a special interest in childrens vision. He specializes in the examination of children and in their visual development. He has been a member of the Optometric Extension Program for the past thirty years which is dedicated to the development and enhanncement of childrens vision. Dr. Feldman has been president of the Woodbury Lions club and Monroe Temple. He was also a soccer and baseball coach for over 14 years. Each year Dr. Feldman volunteers his time at area day care centers and nursery schools screening children for vision and visual developmental problems. He has been a guest speaker at Monroe-Woodbury Parent-Steps program, PTA meetings and Women Of Woodbury. Dr. Feldman has also been a guest lecturer at St. Thomas Aquinas College and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. David Siegel graduated the Pennsylvania School of Optometry in 1980 and has been in private practice in Monroe, NY since that time. He has lectured and authored numerous articles in the Optometric Journals on various subjects relating to ocular disease and primary eyecare. He was selected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1986. Dr. Siegel has served as a contact lens investigator for the FDA and a clinical examiner for the NY State Board of Optometry. He has been a recipient of the Optometric Recognition Award numerous times for his commitment to continuing education.
Dr. Siegel currently lives in chester, NY with his wife Jane, and his two children, Sarah and Daniel.
Dr. Todd Punim graduated from Ithaca College in 1985. He then graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1989, where he was inducted into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Punim has been practicing in Monroe since 1990. He lives in Monroe with his wife, Ellen, and their three children Aaron, Danielle, and Ross. He is a certified New York State Low Vision Specialist, and prescribes various devices, such as telescopes to help the legally blind and partially sighted patients. In addition to general Optometric practice, Dr. Punim has an interest in fitting specialty contact lenses, such as bifocal contacts. Dr. Punim practices developmental eye care and has lectured for various PTA organizations. He annually visits preschools to provide young children with confidence, education and what to expect with their first eye exam.
Dr. Brad C. Gollinger graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1992 with a B.S. in biology. He then went on to graduate from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Dr. Gollinger has extensive experience in Lasik and refractive surgery and was the clinical director of the Laser Vision Institute in Riverdale, NJ. He has participated in several contact lens investigative studies and was a member of a Medical Advisory Board of an internet Physician service for college students. He has lectured nationally on the treatment of Glaucoma and takes a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Dry Eye Syndrome. Dr. Gollinger enjoys playing golf and coaching his son's soccer teams. He was also a participant in the 2001 NYC marathon. He currently lives in Monroe with his wife Jackie, their two sons Jordan and Ethan and their daughter Madison.
